The Ontario Public Supervisory Officials’ Association (OPSOA) is pleased to announce the election of Ruth Mattingley, Superintendent of Education with the Lambton Kent District School Board as President for 2002-2003.

Mrs. Mattingley assumes her duties as President on June 1, 2002.

As a longtime resident of Lambton Kent, Ruth has had an exciting career as teacher, principal and senior administrator. Her work with students and staff in program and administration is highly regarded.

Ruth has been active with OPSOA as a regional representative, professional development organizer and member of the executive for the past two years.

In her year as President, Ruth plans to focus on leadership development and promotion of programs for at-risk students.
